Funding overview
The GBS/CIDP Foundation of Canada welcomes investigators to submit research grant proposals during our annual grant competition. The 2026 grant competition is now closed.
Who can apply?
Grants are open to Canadian researchers in any discipline (scientific or humanities) whose work focuses on improving care for patients living with GBS, CIDP, MMN, or related disorders.
2027 Grant competition timelines
- Grant program launch: Dec 1, 2026
- Application deadline: Jan 31, 2027
- Successful applicants notified: Mar 14, 2027
- Funding start date: May 1, 2027
- Quarterly milestones review
- Final report/presentation to the Board: May 12, 2028
