Conditions
GBS, CIDP, MMN, and their variants are inflammatory neuropathies that affect the peripheral nervous system. This means they damage the nerves that connect the brain and spinal cord to the rest of the body, disrupting movement, sensation, and reflexes. Each condition has distinct characteristics and progression patterns, requiring tailored approaches to diagnosis and treatment.
Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS)
GBS is a rare neurological disorder in which the body’s own auto-immune system attacks the peripheral nerves.
